Acne Rosacea is a chronic skin condition particularly among the fair-skinned individuals; it is with an unknown treatment that affects both the skin and the eyes. When it affects the face, you can commonly see it on the forehead, nose, chin, cheeks and other areas that usually blush. It is also said to often run in families and is not contagious. Rosacea is a facial eruption that consists of erythematous papules, pustules and telangiectasias and broken capillaries. Their are many ways to have good rosacea skin care.

Acne Rosacea is a very uncommon skin condition among teenagers. It usually occurs between the ages of 30 to 50 and affects only the fair-skinned ones. Studies show that 75 percent of those people who have Rosacea are women and 58% are Europeans. It also shows that the men sufferers of this skin condition have more severe cases than that of the women sufferers. Acne Rosacea affects commonly on the face and fewer on the chest, neck and shoulders. It starts as redness and blush on cheeks, nose and forehead. If these simple cases are not treated immediately, it can lead to more serious problem like telangiectasia, papules, gritty eyes, rhynophyma. It can also become more inflamed with swelling, pus spots and broken capillaries. Rosacea can also affect the eyes and this condition is called Ocular Rosacea. The eyes become irritated and will look “bloodshot” and watery. 45 percent of the people who has this kind of skin condition experience burning of the eyes. The exact cause of this condition is still unknown.

In order to prevent this skin ailment, people must avoid smoking, drinking alcohol and eating spicy food because they all cause flushing. If you want to use makeup make sure to use good cosmetics for rosacea that will not cause a bad reaction. Some makeup products can cause inflammation.Avoidance of sun exposure during summer months, and wearing sunscreen with SPF of at least 25 are also good preventive measures to eliminate the chances of getting Rosacea. You might also want to try a good rosacea cream. That will help stop yourself from rubbing or touching your face. This is important because it irritates your skin.
